It seems there is an infinite number of names for the inflatables you see
pictured above. Moonbounce, moonwalk, jumper, bounce house, bouncer,
bouncee, jumpee....they are all the same thing!
A standard jumper is either 13x13 or 15x15, with the 15ft size being most
popular. Children typically enter the front of the inflatable
through a small 'door' using an the attached step for assistance.
Once inside, the bouncer is just like a trampoline...except it's safer and
more fun. There's no worries about your child falling out as all
four sides have walls. There's mesh on each of those walls so you
can keep an eye on them AND to keep them cool!
Cleveland Bounce rents two main types of bouncers: fun-house style and
castle-style. The funhouse is pictured on the left without the
turrets that make the image on the right a castle. Inside, they are
exactly the same. Cleveland Bounce does not guarantee which style
you will receive...but rest assured that the kids won't care one way or
another! Our color schemes vary from one jumper to the next, and
again, we can't guarantee which color scheme you will get. NONE of
the color schemes are too masculine or feminine...most inflatables have a
combination of colors like red, blue, green, yellow, and orange. We
won't make your little boy jump around in a pink castle unless you
specifically ask for it ;-)
Princess themed bouncers are only $30 more!
We also offer a castle themed inflatable with a mini slide attached for a
bit more interaction. This one is perfect for children 5 and under,
and is pictured below. The slide is only 5 feet long, so it lends
itself well to the 2 and 3 year old crowd that simply loves to climb!
My two year old was a bit overwhelmed by the size of the jumping area, but
loved to climb up and down that slide while the rest of the neighborhood
"bounced away" inside. |
Picking Up an Inflatable
Although the inflatable castles and fun-houses are heavy and cumbersome,
they are very easy to set up. Most jumpers weigh about 180 lbs and
are rolled into a cylinder that is 4 feet high and 18" in width. As
such, you will need something other than a car to pick one up from our
warehouse. That means an SUV, mini-van, truck, or station wagon will
suit the task perfectly. Please don't show up in a Honda Civic to
pick up your inflatable! Once you get it home, you will need 2
strong adults to move it in place. We are advocates of "working
smarter, not harder"...so get yourself a dolly or kid's wagon to make the
task a bit easier! Once it is in place, it should not take you any
longer than 10 minutes to set up. If it sounds like too much work,
just ask for a delivery. Our time slots fill up quickly, so be sure
to book well in advance if you think you'd like it delivered. C
Re-Rolling Your BouncerJust like
anything else, un-rolling the bouncer is much more difficult than figuring
out how to get it back together for transport. So take your time
when setting up, and note how the inflatable is rolled and folded.
We will provide you with a cheat-sheet and a verbal explanation of the
process...but setting it up is everything you need to know (in reverse).
